Plot

Following the climactic events of the first film, Earthrealm’s champions—Cole Young, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Jax, Sub‑Zero, and more—prepare for the next Mortal Kombat tournament. The stakes are higher than ever: if Earthrealm loses again, Shao Kahn of Outworld will invade. The tournament isn’t just spectacle: “They keep score… There are huge consequences,” promises co‑creator Ed Boon.
